Their primary income base comes from players who have purchased the core game and one or more expansion packs. This represents most players at this time. ArenaNet also makes a considerable amount of money from the Gem Store.

1. This is probably the most common way to get gold in Gw2. It doesn’t require anything just to play the game and do whatever you wish.
2. “Playing the TP” is most efficent way to get gold but you would need to understand it first.

You get ~1 gold from defeating the Karka Queen, but the boss dies very quickly so it can be over in less than 5 minutes. There is a unique method for reaching the area. Players must find 1 of 4 events in Mount Maelstrom and slay the elemental keeper (soloable). To get to The Desolation, you will require to have GW2 core game and Path of Fire expansion pack. The Desolation Zone is suitable for heroes at experience level 80. You can find Rock Gazelle Pet in The Desolation. The Desolation does not count towards world completion.

The Desert Highlands can be reached by using the Diviner’s Gate, located to the north of Crystal Oasis. Following the road leading from Elona Reach to the Diviner’s Passage leads to the gate. The gate is used during The Sacrifice story step, but it can be used to enter the map prior to starting the story.
