Location issues are often caused by a weak GPS signal. If you can’t see the sky, you’ll have a weak GPS signal and your position on the map might not be correct. Navigate to Settings > Location > and make sure Location is ON. Navigate to Settings > Loction > Sources Mode and tap High Accuracy.

You can reset your GPS on your Android phone by following the steps below:

1. Open Chrome.
2. Tap on Settings (the 3 vertical dots on the top right)
3. Tap on Site Settings.
4. Make sure that settings for Location is set to “Ask First”
5. Tap on Location.
6. Tap on All Sites.
7. Scroll down to ServeManager.
8. Tap on Clear and Reset.

4. Check to make sure Location says Ask First, if not change it to Ask First.
5. Tap Location.
6. At the top, tap All Sites.
7. Find ServeManager in the list.
8. Tap Clear and Reset.

If your location is based on network information and IP, then your location migjt be different. If you want your phone to show the correct location, turn your GPS on and use the GPS only. But this will drain your battery.

If you get an error like “Your location cannot be determined” or your location is still wrong, here are some things you can try: Refresh your browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari). Check to make sure you have a strong Internet connection.

If your blue dot’s beam is wide or pointing in the wrong direction, you’ll need to calibrate your compass. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app . Make a figure 8 until your compass is calibrated. The beam should become narrow and point in the right direction.

If a website or service doesn’t use official information about your IP address to figure out where you are, then it’s possible you’ll appear in a different location on that site than your VPN says you’re browsing from.

On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app Maps. Search for a place or tap it on the map. Scroll down and select Suggest an edit. Follow onscreen instructions to send your feedback.

To change your location double tap the place on the map where you want the GPS to be sited then tap the Play button in the bottom right corner. The app will now show that as your location whenever you or another app accesses the data.

Faking GPS Location on Android Smartphones Go to the Google’s Play store, then download and install the app named Fake GPS Location – GPS Joystick. Tap the Set Location option. Tap the Click here to open the map option. This lets you use a map to select the fake location where you want your phone to appear.

Change your default location settings

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
2. To the right of the address bar, tap More. Settings.
3. Tap Site settings. Location.
4. Turn Location on or off.

Location Spoofing on Desktop

1. Access the “Menu” by clicking on top right corner of Chrome’s toolbar.
2. Now select “Settings.”
3. Locate “Privacy and Security” tab.
4. In “Privacy and Security” tab select “Content Settings”.
5. Now select “Location.”
6. Turn on “Ask before Accessing” feature.
7. You’re done.

Your computer doesn’t know or care where you are. Some websites you visit will attempt to guess where you are based mainly on your IP address. They mostly do this by buying a database from a marketing company that compiles and sells lists correlating IP ranges with approximate physical locations.

To access the option, open the “Maps” app from your Start menu. Click or tap the “…” button at the top-right corner of the window and select “Settings”. Scroll down and click the “Change Default Location” button under Default Location. You’ll be taken to the map with a “Default Location” box visible.

In a browser window, hit Ctrl+Shift+I (for Windows) or Cmd+Option+I (for MacOS). This will open the Chrome Developer Tools window. Hit Esc, then click the Console menu (three dots to the left of Console in the lower portion of the screen). Select Sensors and change the Geolocation dropdown to Custom location…

From the left panel of Privacy Settings window, click on the Location tab. Now from the right side pane, scroll down to the ‘Default location section. ‘ Click on the ‘Set default’ button just below where is says “Windows, apps, and services can use this when we can’t detect a more exact location on this PC”.
