Only the worthy can wield King Arthur's cool sword

How to pull the sword out of the stone at DISNEY WORLD!! *SECRETLY OFF*

You can also try pulling King Arthur's sword Excalibur from the stone where it is stuck at three different Disney parks — Disneyland, in front of the King Arthur Carrousel; Walt Disney World, near Prince Charming Regal Carrousel; and in Disneyland Paris, by Le Carrousel de Lancelot. The Sword in the Stone attraction is a small but popular experience in the parks in large part because it is so mysterious. Many try to pull the sword from the stone, but not many can get it out.

And it makes sense: Excalibur is the sword in The Sword in the Stone, and as the film's story (and the Arthurian legend) tells us, only the rightful king of England can draw it. The Parkers used to put on a little show every day where Merlin would pick several people out of a crowd to test their strength, and maybe one of them would pull out the sword. The show is no more, but the swords stuck in their respective anvils remain.

Drawing the sword is so elusive, so rare, that people have taken to analyzing videos of parkgoers' attempts and drumming up theories about how to increase your chances as one of the worthy ones. I know this because, despite never having seen The Sword in the Stone, this park attraction is somehow all over my TikTok feed.
