Why? I believe that Percy was more angry at Ares because he had sent them to a godly-trapped water park made by Hephaestus. What deal does Percy make with Ares? Percy made a deal that if he lost against Ares. Ares could turn percy into anything he wants and take the bolt but, if Ares lost percy got the Master bolt and the Helm of darkness.

The Pit of Tartarus, that was located in the Underworld, was the very site upon which the Titanomachy between the Gods and the Titans took place. After the Titans’ defeat, they were imprisoned within the Pit of Tartarus for all eternity.
