Thanks to an interview with Gameinformer, we have some rough estimates on how long it will take to beat Dragon's Dogma 2's main story. Per Capcom Dev 1 member and series director Hideaki Itsuno, Dragon's Dogma 2 is as long as the first game.

If we take Itsuno-san's word for it, Dragon's Dogma 2 should have a main story length of around 37 hours. Of course, Itsuno-san said in the interview that the length of the main story would not change dramatically compared to the first game.

But reviews for Dragon's Dogma 2 are now out, and we have more concrete information about its length. The general consensus around the game dictates that it will take 22 to 36 hours to beat.
