Yeti tumbler cups and bottles can keep drinks cold for 6+ hours to 3+ days. The colder the drink starts, the more ice in the drink, the larger the drink volume and the outside temperature all play a role in how long a drink will stay cold for. 12-24 hours is a good estimate for iced water.

If a Yeti cup is placed in the freezer and the liquid inside it freezes and expands, this can cause damage to the stainless steel walls of the cup. Damage to the walls can lead to deformities and lead to a break in the vacuum seal. All of this adds up to an ineffective and ultimately broken Yeti cup.

The label of genuine Yeti tumblers has a cork like texture to it and is stuck onto the tumbler with glue and have a barcode. Fake Yeti tumblers tend to have misspellings, or the font for the branding is slightly off. They also tend to be stuck on with sticky tape and don’t have a barcode.

Where Are YETI Products Manufactured? Our Tundra coolers are manufactured in the USA at facilities located in Iowa and Wisconsin as well as at a facility located in the Philippines. Our Hopper coolers and Rambler drinkware are manufactured in China.

The main reason a Yeti tumbler cup is not keeping water cold is because the vacuum insulation is compromised and filled with air. This issues is covered under Yeti’s 5 Year warranty and you can contact them for a replacement.
