Just under a month before its release, Sony has unveiled the full Gran Turismo 6 car list, which currently runs to 1197 cars. 124 of them are new for Polyphony’s latest PlayStation 3 game, with an eclectic bunch being pulled together including several FIA GT cars and some exotic classics.

GT4 features over 700 cars from 80 manufacturers, from as early as the 1886 Daimler Motor Carriage and as far into the future as concepts for 2022….Gran Turismo 4.

With 1,237, Gran Turismo 6 has the most cars in a racing game as of 31 March 2017. On its release in December 2013, the game had 1,200.

At a quick glance, GT2 looks relatively the same as its predecessor, and for newcomers the racing initially seems overly hard and much too much like a simulation. Gran Turismo 2 is no ordinary racing game, it is the greatest racing game ever created.

When it comes to a realistic racing experience, they’re both fantastic, but GT Sport is undoubtedly the more serious-minded racer of the two for those looking to improve their lap times. Forza, on the other hand, uses the content to its advantage and also promotes a more entertaining and forgiving driving experience.

2 Player Battle is an offline local multiplayer mode. The screen will vertically split and allow two players to race on any track using any of the stock vehicles or garage vehicles. 2 Player Battle does not feature any additional or exotic features; no one is throwing blue spiked turtle shells in Gran Turismo Sport.

One of F1 2020’s big new features is the splitscreen multiplayer. For the first time in nearly ten years, you can hit each of the real-world tracks in competition with a friend. You cannot have another player take part in a My Team race or join you in online competition.

To do so, you’ll have to do what is called a ‘2 Player Battle’, an offline local multiplayer mode. When you do so, the screen will be split vertically. Next, the two drivers simply need to select their choice of car and track, and get racing!

Right now there’s no confirmation that Gran Turismo 7 will support split-screen. However, Gran Turismo 6 featured split-screen multiplayer, so there’s no reason why the PS5 entry in the multi-million seller will do the same.
