Yale University dorm rooms are spacious and consist of all the essential components you require to feel content, quite like how it is at home. Most rooms are decently sized and often have room for a refrigerator.

Students must live in the rooms to which they have been assigned. They may not move without the permission of the residential college dean or head. All resident students must take a meal contract. On-campus housing is guaranteed to first-year students and sophomores, for whom residence is required.

At Yale we live in suites, which have different combinations of single bedrooms, double bedrooms, and a shared common room. It’s sort of apartment style except there are no kitchens, and you might share a bathroom with other suites on your floor.

10 It’s a Hardware Store While not apparent in every shot of the facade, Luke’s Diner is located inside a storefront called “Williams Hardware.” When the series was picked up, they filmed the shots of Stars Hollow in Unionville, Ontario.

The trust fund wasn’t for a massive amount of money, but it wasn’t a paltry sum, either. Both Trix and Richard Gilmore mentioned the trust was worth $250,000. Richard also considered changing the stipulations of the fund to force Rory back to Yale.

Luke and Lorelai have been together for a solid decade at this point and they never got married. Lorelai is in a bit of a mid-life crisis, feeling detached from Luke. Ultimately, they get married and the series ends on a “happily ever after” for the two.

Luke Was Too Late The beginning of Season 7 then broke ‘shippers hearts even further, because Luke showed up at Lorelai’s shortly after with his truck packed and an offer to elope. She had to reject his proposal and then blurted out that she slept with Christopher.

News also spread at Chilton and Max decides to take a break to think. Lorelai seeks him out again and they start up slowly, culminating in Max’ impromptu proposal, which Lorelai accepts. Though set to wed in late summer, Lorelai leaves town with Rory to avoid the wedding, effectively ending the relationship.
