The Mandalorian, which was streamed on Disney+, exploded in popularity after the series debuted in 2019. Pedro Pascal's role as Din Djarin or The Mandalorian was much appreciated, but the spotlight was stolen by the baby Yoda or Grogu who stole everyone's hearts with his cuteness and comical touch he to the performance. Now many people have questions about his age because the Grogu species ages very differently than humans do. So let's talk about how old Grogu is in The Mandalorian's Star Wars timeline!
Grogu just said "This is the way"
In The Mandalorian Season 1, the Imperial scientists confirmed that Grogu is 50 years old. Since Grogu's species ages completely differently, it is difficult to estimate his exact age by looking at him, so the age given by Imperial researchers is the closest estimate they can make.
This is the only time in the entire season where Grogu's age is mentioned and after that there is no mention of it. However, by Season 3 of The Mandalorian, we learn that he has aged a bit since Season 1.
Although season 2 of The Mandalorian doesn't mention Grogus' age yet again. However, since Jon Favreau made a comment that he will be 53 in The Mandalorian Season 3 which confirms that Grogu ages every year that passes, and since The Mandalorian Season 2 happened a year after Season 1, he is probably 51 years old in The Mandalorian Season 2. Since he appeared in The Book of Boba Fett, which takes place a year after The Mandalorian Season 2, he is probably 52 years old in Boba Fett.
