While I love all things bubble and screen effects, I make sure to turn off their autoplay in the chat threads, especially when my device is having battery charging issues. Fortunately, the process of disabling autoplay iMessage on the Apple Watch is just as easy as it is on the iPhone.

Ideally, it would have been better if the toggle to turn on/off iMessage auto effects on watchOS had been placed in the Messages app setting. Instead, it's gone into the accessibility setting (both on iOS and watchOS), which is why not many of us know how to stop them from autoplaying in chat threads on the Apple Watch. Not to mention, some of us constantly wonder if there is an option to take control of these effects. Anyway, let me show you how it works!
