Anima weapons are a good way to get rid of Allagan Tomestones of Poetics
Heavensward Relic Weapon Guide (Anima Weapon)
If you've found yourself twiddling your thumbs in Final Fantasy 14 between patches and you want some cool gear to glam up your weapons, you can craft a Heavensward Relic weapon. Known as an Anima weapon, these flashy weapons have no modern use for stats, but they look pretty cool.
As usual with relic weapons, there's a long gate ahead of you if you want the finished weapon, but the Anima relic gate isn't too bad. A lot of it is just pushing Allagan Tomestones of Poetics and Grand Company Seals at NPCs to get materials, so an Anima weapon is a great way to dump any extra currency you have left.
You actually need a ton of poetics to complete this weapon, so if you want to maximize your relic experience, you can do this while crafting your Stormblood (Eureka) relic weapon. Eureka gives plenty of poetics, so if you want a stormblood weapon anyway… you know.
