Assuming you've followed our linked guide on Minecraft CurseForge above, the steps below should be easy. After installing the CurseForge app, you should create a Minecraft modding folder. Although this is explained in our guide, we will cover it here as well. If you're ready to add some mods and modpacks right away, skip the first two steps.

CurseForge allows you to create multiple profiles within the app. You can use each profile to install a specific set of mods, texture packs, and maps. They will work independently and you can use them to run different versions of the game as well. The only catch here is that you must launch modded Minecraft from the CurseForge app for each profile to take effect.

Also note that deleting your profile in CurseForge will delete your saved worlds, mods and more customizations. So make sure to have a backup of your "save" folder from the Minecraft directory.
