iPhone has had a built-in voice recording app since ages and finally Android is catching up with its rival. In line with recent leaks, the Pixel 4 will come with a built-in voice recording app and a built-in screen recorder. While the screen recorder will be available as a system feature on the Pixel 4, the voice recording app is available right now and it works on all Android devices. The good thing about having a first-party voice recorder is that you no longer have to rely on shady voice recording apps from the Play Store. That said, here's how you can install the Pixel 4 voice recorder app on any Android device.

Before we start, remember that the Pixel 4 recording app works with Android Pie and above. On Android 10, it also uses gated storage to better protect your recording from third-party apps that have storage permissions. With that said, here are the steps to follow.

2. It may ask your permission before installing apps from a third-party source. Click Settings and let it continue with the installation.
