Redstone has changed forever with the addition of a wireless component in the previous Minecraft 1.19 Wild Update, one of the sculk family blocks – sculk sensor. This block has made redstone technology so much easier and more compact. Also, many players who haven't played with redstone are very experienced and experimented with this rather fun block, because of all the silly opportunities they had to prank their server buddies. However, in this guide we will cover a block that was introduced in the Minecraft 1.20 Trails and Tales update. It will help Minecraft players even more in their Redstone adventures – Calibrated Sculk Sensor.

How to use CALIBRATED SCULK SENSOR IN MINECRAFT

Calibrated Sculk Sensor is a new sculk family block in Minecraft, and it is not generated naturally in the world. Similar to its regular variant, this block is used to craft redstone machines. It produces wireless redstone signal that can be detected. However, this block is much more advanced than the sculk sensor and allows players to do the same things more easily and with less resources needed.

As with all sculk blocks, you will need a silk touch enchantment on your pickaxe (preferred tool) to get the calibrated sculk sensor in Minecraft. Check out the best enchantments you can use in Minecraft via the linked article.

Additionally, it has a range of 16 blocks where it can detect vibrations and has a cooldown of only one second, compared to the two seconds of the regular variant. It's stackable (up to 64), emits a light level of one, and you can water log it to silence it. Calibrated sensor gives redstone signal on all sides, except the input side.
