Ultimate Minecraft 1.20 Strider Guide – How to Ride Striders Fast, Breeding, Skewed Mushrooms

Striders are common mobs within the Nether dimension. You will find them in each biome usually in groups of 2-4 ladders. They spawn on lava that has air blocks above it. Most commonly you see these crowds at the large lava pools or seas in the Netherlands.

Baby striders also sometimes spawn on top of an adult strider. These children will eventually grow up and still stay on top of the second ladder.

But there is one more mob that can spawn a battler, and that's a zombified piglin. This pig-like mob will carry a warped mushroom on a stick and the ladder below will be equipped with a saddle.
