Farming is one part that has always felt a bit limited in LEGO Fortnite. But with the Farm Friends update, that seems to be changing. Finally you can have cows, sheep, chickens and pigs in your village. When you are on your farm, these animals will give you various resources such as feathers, milk, wool, mushrooms and fertilizers. But before they are your friends, you must learn to tame them. Let's start by showing you how to tame and assign animals in LEGO Fortnite.

Before starting your animal farm, you need the barn in your village. When your village reaches level 2, you will see the Barn Recipe unlocked. So once the recipe is unlocked, here's how to build the barn:

Once you've built the barn, you'll unlock the animal feed. This feed or pet treat allows you to tame the friendly animals. You need 5 vines and 3 corn to make a pet treat. Here's how to make the animal treats:

Once you've decided which animal to tame, head towards them. After the animal you want to pet accepts your candy, you can take them to your village. However, you will have a limited amount of time to take them to your village. To feed an animal treat to an animal, go to the animal and click the Interact button (E on PC, Square/X on consoles and Y on Nintendo Switch) to tame them in LEGO Fortnite.
