FFXIV: How The New Facewear Slot & New unlockable glasses!
Face wear, like glasses, has a separate place to equip in Final Fantasy 14, allowing you to wear hats and glasses.
This update came out in version 7.0 along with the launch of the Dawntrail expansion, so you can actually trade in your old glasses for the new facewear accessories. While these do get a spot on your equipment screen, they are for glamor only, providing no stats.
