The built-in Reminders app on macOS has steadily gained features to make it more useful with each iteration. Now, with macOS Sonoma (coming later this year), Apple has added a new Kanban card feature to the Reminders app. So if you've tried all the Mac productivity apps and are still looking for a good Kanban reminder app, here's how to use the Kanban card feature in Reminders with macOS Sonoma.

My three favorite new features in Reminders with macOS Sonoma!

That's it, you'll now have a Kanban card style view for your reminders, and you can easily drag and drop tasks around different sections.

Once you've set up the Kanban list, you'll notice that each of the columns (sections) you created has a blank to-do pill underneath it. These cannot be removed. However, you can use them to create new tasks in any section.

Moving a task between columns is also easy. If you've used project management software like Asana or Trello, you'll intuitively understand what to do. Simply drag a pill from one column and drop it into another to move data between sections. This is useful for quickly moving a task from "Waiting" to "In Progress" etc.
