The location, adjacent to the A1 and M25 and just east of South Mimms motorway services, is relatively close to London, Europe's largest data center market. And according to DC01 UK, it already has a 400MVA power reservation from National Grid, supplied by Elstree (Letchmore Heath) substation a few miles away, although this won't be connected until 2029.
