The cast remembers: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau on playing Jaime Lannister | Game of Thrones: Season 8 (HB

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau played "Kingslayer" Jamie Lannister in the HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones. For eight seasons, the program entertained its audience, before ending with a more or less lackluster finale. It was so disappointing that there was a petition to redo the horrible ending.

And it wasn't just the fans who were disappointed with how one of the best shows on television ended. Even Coster-Waldau, who was part of the show from the very first episode to the very last, almost signed the same petition to have the ending redone. And almost paid money for it.

The end of Game of Thrones was a controversial topic to say the least. In an attempt to tie up loose ends, they rushed through the entire final season, especially the last two episodes of the show. Which did more harm than good, as fans were unhappy with how everything turned out to say the least. And not just the fans, many of the cast members also expressed their displeasure with the show's ending later.
