Actor Wentworth Miller starred as Michael Scofield in the Fox drama series Prison Break. Miller's performance was extremely well received, with his character forming the core of the show's narrative. Despite reviving the series for a fifth season, Miller closed the door on possibly returning for another run of the acclaimed series.

In a post on social media, Miller explained why he was no longer interested in reprising the role of the genius civil engineer. As a result, it's unlikely we'll ever see a sixth installment of Prison Break. However, it is more than likely that the series will return to our screens. Here's why Wentworth Miller won't be involved in the future of Prison Break.

Wentworth Miller became a household name with his performance as Michael Scofield on the Fox drama series Prison Break. The series first went off the air in 2009 after four seasons. However, it was revived for a fifth installment in 2017.
