After twelve years in early access, 7 Days to Die has finally reached its full version 1.0. Although the update includes many new features, fans have not been too happy with some of them. The main thing that gets the most attention is the removal of the empty cans you get after drinking water.
In response, fans have turned to humor. The game's subreddit has been full of posts about the empty can including the iconic Hugh Jackman Wolverine meme, to cope with the loss of this important mechanic.
In the 7 Days to Die 1.0 update, when a player drinks water from a can, the empty container no longer appears in their inventory. The change was first introduced to PC players with the Alpha 21 update.
