The Boys has its fair share of messed up characters. And while Homelander may overshadow them all, there are others just as screwed, including Chace Crawford's The Deep. Whether it's his obsession with worshiping the ground Homelander walks on or his relationship with sea creatures, The Deep has proven time and time again that he's actually pretty easy to despise. It's clear that Chace Crawford did an incredible job bringing the evil Aquaman clone to life.

Deep's romantic relationship with a female octopus, Ambrosius, is a prominent part of the story in season four of The Boys. While viewers may have been too busy trying to understand the relationship between the two, they probably missed a small but brilliant detail in Ambrose's tank.

The poor octopus waited for hours for her lover to return from his duties and asked him to put her in the huge tank in his room. All of this would be to no avail as Chace Crawford's The Deep would do nothing but gas her.
