Tim Blake Nelson has a promising update on his character's appearance in Captain America: Brave New World

Anthony Mackie's Captain America 4 largely acknowledges the existence of The Incredible Hulk within the MCU. Tim Blake Nelson returns as Samuel Sterns from the previous film alongside Liv Tyler's Betty Ross. Nelson had just one request for the creators of Captain America: Brave New World before reprising his role.

In The Incredible Hulk, Nelson's Samuel Sterns first helped Bruce Banner, but it turned out he had ulterior motives. Banner's gamma-contaminated blood enters Stern's system through a cut in his forehead and he begins to mutate during the film's final scenes.

During an interview with EW, the cast of the upcoming film talked about the film and their roles in detail. Nelson talked about his return as Samuel Sterns, who will take on his villainous avatar, The Leader, in this film.
