Aquaman may be a powerful being but his real-life counterpart is only human!

Jason Momoa Evolution

Being an actor may sound like a dream job to many, but let us tell you that it is no easy feat. You have to shoot in extreme temperatures, work long hours, endure injuries and much more. Some actors have even permanently damaged their bodies on set, including Jackie Chan, George Clooney, and Jason Momoa, our mid-Atlantic favorite.

During the filming of the sequel to Aquaman (2018), Jason Momoa ended up injuring his eye causing permanent damage to his eyes. Since the injury occurred on the set of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the actor could have easily sued the production company and Warner Bros. for a hefty settlement award. But Jason Momoa chalked the injury up to his advanced age and called it a day.

During his appearance on The Ellen Show 2021, Jason Momoa was asked about the injuries he sustained while filming Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. When Ellen DeGeneres asked him "What happened to you?" Momoa adorably replied, "I'm getting old, that's what happens." The actor was in his forties when Aquaman 2 was released.
