House of the Dragon could change yet another Helaena Targaryen plot.

House Of The Dragon Season 2 Episode 8 Finale FULL Breakdown and Game Of Thrones Easter Eggs

War is looming over Westeros, and the House of the Dragon season 2 season finale preview just showed that it will end in bloodshed. As Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen finally finds dragon riders for Seasmoke, Vermithor and Silverwing in the recently released episode, her army grows stronger as well.

With this knowledge, Prince Regent Aemond Targaryen and the Greens must gather everything they can to strengthen their defenses. In the latest HBO preview, the one-eyed prince is seen speaking to his sibling, Queen Helaena, urging her to ride Dreamfyre into battle.

In the season finale of House of the Dragon, Ewan Mitchell's Aemond said to Phia Saban's Helaena, "The Pretenders are raising new riders against us. I need you to fly the Dreamfyre into battle." This already seemed like a reckless move by the Greens, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
