The upcoming title could be the perfect opportunity for The Coalition to add a game mode where two big teams compete on a big map. That said, considering it could be a 10v10 game mode, it will make Lancer a nightmare with anyone spamming it.
Since the story of E-Day will take place 14 years before the first Gears of War game, it will feature the original Lancer, also known as the Retro Lancer. While the later games in the series upgraded the weapon several times, the original Retro Lancer was suitably powerful for the acute day period.
