Since then, she has cemented herself as one of the most beloved characters from the show, ending up amassing a fortune of $25 million throughout her tenure as Sheldon's love interest.

Thanks to her job on The Big Bang Theory, Bialik was set on life, as she initially returned to acting full-time after her health insurance ran out.

Despite headlining her own sitcom, Blossom, at age 15, Mayim Bialik took a 12-year hiatus from acting to study neuroscience. While she earned both a bachelor's and a doctorate in the subject and also tutored students in Hebrew and piano, things changed when she realized her health insurance was running out.
