The singer took to Instagram to address the rumours, mentioning that it was "bonkers" that media houses even believed it. She likened Cruise to his musical mentor Chris Martin.
Cruise and Canal first turned heads when they were spotted at the Glastonbury music festival. The two were rumored to have become friends at first but the relationship quickly blossomed into something romantic. The two were even at the premiere of Twisters.
