According to Goldman Sachs, AI is poised to begin transitioning from a phase of "excitement" to one of "expansion" by 2024, particularly in industries including manufacturing and healthcare.

"After a breakthrough year for generative artificial intelligence, investors are looking for signs that new deep learning tools and techniques are filtering through to more industries. The transition from the tension phase to the deployment phase is expected to continue through 2024, eventually contributing to increasing global productivity and potentially helping to address challenges arising from unfavorable demographics in some countries," noted Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
