Intel recently held its Q4 2023 earnings call, where CEO Pat Gelsinger talked about exciting developments in the company's future processor generations, including Panther Lake, Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake.
Intel's Lunar Lake AI Chip Event: All Revealed in 10 Minutes
The Meteor Lake architecture on the latest Core Ultra notebook processors was recently released. The highlight was the new generation with AI capabilities thanks to the built-in NPU. But this year, 2024, Intel is expected to release the Lunar Lake & Arrow Lake processor architecture. Then, in 2025, Intel will also release Panther Lake.
The above roadmap is what Intel revealed to us when they held their Innovation 2023 event. In the recently held Q4 2024 earnings call, here's what Pat said (Source: Seeking Alpha) about current and future processor generations:
"The Core Ultra platform delivers industry-leading AI performance today with our next-generation platforms launching later this year, Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake tripling our AI performance. In 2025 with Panther Lake, we will increase AI performance up to another 2x. " – Pat Gelsinger, Intel CEO
