The chainsaw man part 2 manga sales have decreased quite significantly. Despite having a consistent digital readership, fans are losing overall interest!

Chainsaw Man Manga readers are disappointed

The Chainsaw Man manga was an unstoppable force in its first installment, with a combination of non-stop action, heart-pounding suspense and captivating plot. The Makima arc was the perfect culmination of this wild ride, leaving its readers absolutely breathless and wanting more.

But it's with Part 2 that the pace has noticeably shifted down, which just hasn't managed to recreate that sense of tension and suspense. For this reason, hopes are high that Season 2 of the anime adaptation will rekindle that flame again, once again bringing some momentum to the Chainsaw Man franchise.

Sales figures for the Chainsaw Man Part 2 manga reflect a worrying decline in popularity. In numbers provided by Oricon via the Manga Codex, the series has dropped in copies sold per volume from 305,000 for Volume 10, which was released in January 2021, to just 168,000 copies for Volume 16, which was sold that December. This means that in two years the series lost almost 45% in sales, with a clear loss of momentum.
