In many ways it’s similar to high-quality R-rated movies – There’s amazing quality, but not necessarily something for younger kids. Ironically, while it’s not a great fit for younger kids, it is a great game for parents.

It is definitely for mature audiences only, so try not to play in front of younger siblings. Overall, God of War 2 is exciting and interesting, and very worth buying.

God of War is hard. It’s hard because it requires just about every skill you might have to show in a game – combat, cunning, puzzle-solving and more – and even if you have them you’re still going to struggle. All of this is clear in the game’s central mission.

Persona 5 (definitely) and God of War (probably) would be fine. Most 13-year-olds are not that sheltered. The Last of Us 2 is inappropriate for a child of that age; the depictions of violence are, at times, nauseating. No way that I would let my kid play it.

The game itself has been rated as “Mature” on the US, which is suitable for a person with the age of 17+. The reason was Ghost of Tsushima got lots of violence and gore aspect, where you can slash and cut someone. No, it is not suitable for a child.
