When it comes to usability, Google beats Apple because it is easier to copy-paste the text in need of translation. This is an artifact of the iOS UI, where you have to keep holding and selecting the text. Again, it’s not a significant detraction, but Android users may need some time before they get over it.

Google translate is bad because it doesn’t take into account context when offering translation, and is incapable of comprehending idiomatic expressions and some phrasal verbs. It takes at least the entire sentence into consideration, and it does occasionally translate idioms and common phrases correctly.

With full support of administration, using Google translate is considered cheating. It will always result in a 0 for the assignment.

Accuracy. According to an article by Digital Trends, Google and Siri’s language skills have been put to the test and the results are surprising. Google scored an average of 4.72 out of 6 in French, while Siri scored 4.24. For Spanish, Google scored 5.15 whilst Siri scored 4.64.

Apple AirPods by themselves do not translate languages. It can work with apps like Google Translate and iTranslate to break past the language barrier and improve communication. In later AirPods versions, certain updates could grant the device the ability to translate languages without using external applications.

Launch Safari on your iPhone or iPad, then visit a webpage that’s in a language you’d like to translate. Tap the aA button in the far-left of the address bar, then select Translate to [Language] in the dropdown menu. Tap Enable Translation in the prompt if required.

With your PDF open in Google Docs, click on Tools and select Translate Document. You can then choose your desired language and click on Translate. The results will be generated in a new PDF file with both the original and translated versions included.

Translate a document

1. On your computer, open a document in Google Docs.
2. In the top menu, click Tools. Translate document.
3. Enter a name for the translated document and select a language.
4. Click Translate.
5. A translated copy of your document will open in a new window. You can also see this copy in your Google Drive.

The best way to translate a scanned document PDF accurately and to retain formatting is by using optical character recognition (OCR). OCR will recognize characters in your document and convert them to digital text.

Google Translate doesn’t just translate words and phrases for you; it can also translate entire documents, such as plain text and rich-text documents, Microsoft Word documents, and HTML. It can even translate PDFs.

Translate documents

1. On your computer, go to Google Translate.
2. At the top left, click Documents.
3. Click Browse your computer and find the file you want to translate.
4. To choose the language you want to translate to, at the top right, click the Down arrow .
5. Click Translate.

Microsoft Word can recognize and convert scanned PDF files into Word documents without requiring any additional software. If your document saved as an image (e.g., a JPG or PNG file), you can use New OCR to convert it instead.

Edit text in a scanned document

1. Open the scanned PDF file in Acrobat.
2. Choose Tools > Edit PDF.
3. Click the text element you want to edit and start typing.
4. Choose File > Save As and type a new name for your editable document.

Scan a document

1. Open the Google Drive app .
2. In the bottom right, tap Add .
3. Tap Scan .
4. Take a photo of the document you’d like to scan. Adjust scan area: Tap Crop . Take photo again: Tap Re-scan current page . Scan another page: Tap Add .
5. To save the finished document, tap Done .

Turn the printer on and open the scanner – lift the scanner lid, load the document you wish to scan into the tray if your printer has an all-in-one paper feeder. Insert the document – place the document face-down in the scanner and use the arrow marking on the glass to help align your document in the correct place.
