It’s almost a cliche to say it nowadays, but The Simpsons stopped being funny, stopped being good in and around the tenth season. Ten years. Most TV series nowadays are lucky if they make it that far and remain consistently entertaining for that long.

Regardless of what you may think, The Simpsons is arguably one of the greatest TV shows of all time. It has captivated audiences for years and for good reason too – it’s brilliant. With its iconic yellow skinned patrons and hilarious one-liners it has been cemented as one the classic TV sitcoms.

Start anywhere from season 3 to season 12. Other opinions may vary. With maybe the exception of Seinfeld, The Simpsons was the best network show during the 1990’s. Unlike Seinfeld, however, The Simpsons did not know when to call it quits, (which should have been right around ’97).
