The word ‘park’ is a regular verb so you can form the past simple tense by adding -ED. Therefore the past simple tense of ‘park’ is ‘parked’.

The past tense of park is parked. The third-person singular simple present indicative form of park is parks. The present participle of park is parking. The past participle of park is parked.

The simple form of the verb is the main verb in the present tense and the past tense. simple form = main verb. Use do, does, or did with the simple form of the verb for questions and negatives. Keep this window open when you work on Lesson Three in the Red Level.

Note: This infinitive belongs to two different verbs, or there are two different spellings….Indicative.

Technically, would is the past tense of will, but it is an auxiliary verb that has many uses, some of which even express the present tense.

Auxiliary verb can (positive) – can’t (negative) use Use can, when you ask someone to do things. Use ‘can’ to talk about possibility. Always use can with another verb. I can = I know to do something. / I know that something is possible for me.

Would is an auxiliary verb – a modal auxiliary verb. We use would mainly to: talk about the past. talk about the future in the past.
