As of March 31, 2020, 1,447 additional songs have been made available as DLC, 1,444 of which are available to purchase and download from the Rocksmith store. The final DLC to be released was released in March 2020, as Ubisoft San Francisco transitions to a new project.

Q. Can Rocksmith really teach you guitar?
While Rocksmith does a pretty decent job teaching you to play songs, it really doesn’t make you a well-rounded musician. It doesn’t help you understand the fundamentals of guitar that allow you to apply it to your own music. As such, you’re limited to songs and techniques that are available in the game.

Answer: Yes, the Realtone Cable works with the PS5. As an important note, if you are planning to play Rocksmith 2014 Remastered, there is not a PS5 version available. So, although you can play the game on the PS5, some features available on PS4 may be absent on PS5.

Do I need an amplifier to play the game? Nope. All you need is a TV and a compatible console or computer. With Rocksmith, your TV, computer, or home theater system becomes your amplifier.
