The name Rachael Lillis may sound unfamiliar to you, but you will surely know her work. Lillis was an American voice-over artist who played some famous roles in the anime industry. She was the voice of Misty, Jessie and Jigglypuff in Pokemon and has also voiced Princess Charlotte in Berserk.

These are just a few roles from a plethora of characters she had played over the years. The voice actress passed away on August 10, 2024, after a long battle with cancer, and the Pokémon community has been pouring out their hearts on social media as they mourn the loss.

VeKathleen Charlotte McInerney, also known by her stage name, Veronica Taylor, was the English voice actress of Ash from Pokemon for its first eight seasons. She also has several famous roles under her sleeves. After the community became aware of Rachael Lillis' passing, Taylor posted a heartfelt letter.
