We've witnessed World War II to futuristic battles, with the series covering a wide range of wars and giving rise to many unforgettable characters and moments.

However, a conflict has been noticeably absent from many abysmal stories already covered in the franchises. The Vietnam War is a complex political issue out of the history books to be put into a video game, and it's not surprising that it's never been tackled in such a famous franchise.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops series, developed by Treyarch, is known for bringing brutal stories to life combined with high-octane action.
