Thanks to Tite Kubo, Bleach has several elements from the western world. The mangaka prefers English songs to Japanese songs and even listens to MTV while working on his drafts. Another thing the mangaka is quite fond of are Spanish words. He has included several Spanish words in his works even though he does not speak it. Kubo didn't care about the grammatical mistakes. What sounded right and matched his feelings was included.
