Chris Evans would rather play Johnny Storm than Captain America.

Chris Evans' Johnny Storm never quite got his time in the sun. Even though he was the actor's entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the franchise was still trying to figure out what it wanted to do. As fate would have it, Evans was destined to play Captain America for several years and the Fantastic Four member only once. That was until the release of Deadpool & Wolverine.

The recently released film brought back the character in the most iconic way possible. Not only were fans excited to see him back in the franchise, but the role he chose was true genius. Interestingly, the actor kind of teased his comeback when he gave an interview two years ago!

Not only did Evans entertain the possibility of returning to the MCU, but he also preferred to appear as Johnny Storm over Captain America.
