A Hi-Fi Rush sequel may yet see the light of day as Krafton steps in and acquires Tango Gameworks, the studio dumped by Xbox.

Tango Gameworks, the team behind the critically acclaimed title Hi-Fi Rush has been revived. Krafton just announced that it has acquired the studio that Microsoft disposed of earlier this year.

Along with the talented team, the PUBG developer also now owns the rights to the rhythm-based action game IP, rekindling hopes of a potential sequel in the future.

In a press release published today, Krafton revealed that it has agreed with Xbox to acquire Japanese game development studio Tango Gameworks.
