The new additions are absolutely stacked

The next Nintendo Direct is coming SOON?!

Nintendo announced a small, but mighty list of additions coming to its premium subscription service as part of the Nintendo Direct on Tuesday. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Four Swords; Metroid: Zero Mission; Turok: Dinosaur Hunter; and Perfect Dark will all be released for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on Tuesday.

Either title on its own would be a formidable addition to the catalog of games offered on the subscription service, but now we're getting all four. Metroid: Zero Mission is a classic Metroid game and highly regarded as one of the best entries in the series. Turok: Dinosaur Hunter takes players back to some great prehistoric hunts and discoveries on the Nintendo 64. As for Perfect Dark, there couldn't be a better time to return to the original considering the reboot just got a big gameplay trailer on the last Xbox Games Showcase — and the game will have online multiplayer.

Then of course there is another Zelda game. The standard Nintendo Switch Online already includes the NES version of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, but now people will be able to play the weirder Four Swords expansion for the game that came out for the GameBoy Advance in 2002. The best part? This game will also have online multiplayer so now those who didn't have enough copies of the game (or enough handhelds) as kids can finally return and play the classic with friends.
