Honkai Star Rail gave us a sneak peek at March 7's new ability in their Summer Fest 2024 trailer. During the HSR 2.1 Livestream, Shaoji, the Star Rail Franchise author, revealed that on March 7, it will receive a similar track switching system to the Trailblazer. SUMMER GAMEFEST JUST FIXED SOMETHING *INSANE* FOR MARCH 7TH IN HONKAI: STAR RAIL…(SPOILERS?)
The majority of the Summer Party trailer was the same one released in the version 2.3 Livestream, with only the last few seconds teasing March 7's new ability. The teaser begins with March 7 looking at a poster in Xianzhou Luofu about "Wardance". In the next instance, we see her wearing a new dress and dual swords.
On March 7th, the new ability is called Wardance, which she will likely learn from the new visitors to Xianzhou Luofu. As revealed in the 2.1 Livestream, March 7's path switching system will be based on her creating new memories along the way, instead of going on a new path. This likely means that March 7 will learn the art of guarding someone in Xianzhou Luofu and unlock her new path or set of skills. Image courtesy: Summerfest 2024
Currently, we have no idea what the actual ability will look like in the game. Whether it will be a set of new skills or a complete change in her path (probably to hunting in this case). However, I love how Honkai Star Rail is experimenting with different ideas and developing the much loved Astral Crew along with Trailblazer.
