NetEase's Marvel Rivals is quickly becoming more and more popular since its beta. The game will be released on December 6, 2024 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. As a competitive multiplayer hero shooter, it will compete with the likes of Overwatch 2.
And the developers know this. But what will NetEase do to beat the reigning king? It will not be an easy task but one main focus that the developers must have is to add more game modes for players to enjoy. What usually happens with competitive online games is that they become too competitive and become unfun for casual play.
