I just saw The Marvels, and trust me when I say this, don't listen to anyone who says this movie isn't worth seeing. You might not be a fan of Captain Marvel or Ms. Marvel but I am sure you will enjoy this movie. It is packed with good VFX, well done action sequences and a pretty decent plot. However, the film also has some drawbacks such as an underutilized villain, some plot holes, and some "Marvel humor", which at times seemed rather forced.
