Like the game before it, Insomniac injects the latest Spidey game with an overarching story that seamlessly connects and makes you emotional. Towards the end of Spider-Man 2, players see a stream of cutscenes that hint at many things. We're here today to break down all the ending and post-credits scenes for you in this guide. Spider-Man 2 ending explained: Will there be another sequel?

Insomniac Games had decided not to follow the traditional Spider-Man timeline in the comics. In the game's universe, Peter Parker & Miles Morales work together in New York City to fight crime. But of course it doesn't start like this. We already see Peter Parker as Spider-Man in the original 2018 game, fighting his way through various enemies and finally defeating Doctor Otto Octavius.
Towards the end of the first game, we see Miles reveal to Peter that he too is beginning to gain the same powers. However, it's really in Spider-Man: Miles Morales that the namesake really comes into his own as he slowly becomes independent. Most of that game is spent with Miles fighting alone and dealing with his newfound powers while Peter trains him.
