It seems the rumors and speculation were true, as Konami has officially revealed the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake in its full CGI trailer glory. The discussions of an MGS3 remake have always been in the air for quite some time. But after the ugly spat between Konami and series creator Hideo Kojima, and the company moving to gacha and mobile, many thought it was just rumours. But after the reveal at the PlayStation Showcase 2023, it seems we're not really in a dream. So let's look at the details of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eaters remake.

The trailer begins with a close-up of some ants crawling towards a dead frog, which is picked up by a parrot, which is then seen zooming through a jungle filled with vines. It crosses an electrified fence and sits atop a branch floating in the water.
Unfortunately, for our bird friend, a snake problem awaits, but it works out when the snake is attacked by a crocodile soon after. The camera finally pans to our hero, Naked Snake, hiding in the arms of the jungle, and the game is confirmed.
As for details, the developers are being tight-lipped at the moment. We still don't know who is responsible for making the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake. But judging by how the Japanese publisher has had their Silent Hill games developed by outside developers, we can expect the same treatment for this game.
