Microsoft's corporate director of business applications and platforms, Bryan Goode, announced the change on Friday, justifying the price increases by saying that "every year we release hundreds of new features and enhancements."
Goode singled out "AI-powered real-time customer insights for marketers, salespeople and service agents, as well as … optimizing operations and mission-critical processes with data insights, supply chain visibility and end-to-end automation of financial services processes" as improvements that make a price increase reasonable.
A list of price change details increases between 9.26 percent and 16.67 percent.
