Microsoft just unveiled the Surface Laptop Go 3 and Surface Go 4 2-in-1 portable laptops at the Surface 2023 event today. The Surface Laptop Go 3 upgrades from the previously used 11th generation Intel processors to the more modern 12th generation Alder Lake mobile architecture. This design features Intel's hybrid performance architecture, which uses P-Cores & E-cores across the range for superior efficiency. By the way, the P cores are focused on performance while the E cores are used to speed up multitasking performance while being more efficient.

The new Surface Laptop Go 3 will be available in four color variants: Sage, Ice Blue, Sandstone and Platinum. Speaking of the variants, the Laptop Go 3 is powered by the Intel Core i5-1235U with a 10-core, 12-thread configuration. Under the hood are two P-cores and eight E-cores, and the maximum turbo frequency is 4.40GHz.

The laptop also features an Omnisonic speaker design with support for Dolby Audio Premium and a 720p webcam up top. Speaking of ports, it has a single USB Type-C 3.2 port, along with a USB-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the Surface Connect port.
